How to Raise Eyebrows

Your eyebrows define your face! How well you keep up with them shows the world how important personal hygine is to you!! Though there are multiple ways of keepin up with them not every way is right for everybody.
The most popluar way is waxing. Most people know what waxing is but just in case you don't I'll explain it for ya!;) Basically, there is how wax placed on your skin where the hair is and a peice of cloth is rubbed on over that. Then, it is swiftly ripped off your skin taking the wax and the hair with it! They repeate this untill all the desiered hair is removed from the area! Sounds painful right? They say that over time you build up resistance to it as your skin becomes thinker. But to some people it is! Especially for people would take and type of medicine for acne purposes, thsi will not mix well with the sensitive skin. For me personally, I have not waxed my eyebrows in two years because of this! When I did, I would get huge red marks unerneath my eye brows for two weeks and since I have bigger and fully eyebrows, the burns would only heal just in time for me to go again!
So instead of having to walk around with horrible burns above my eyes, I switched to threading. Threading is something new to the eyebrow sence, it just recently showed up in my area when I first started doing it. This really is the ideal way of grooming your eyebrows for people with highly sensitive skin like mine. Its a very hard thing to explain but really what they do is twist a peice of sewing thread into the shape pictured below

and than they pull through your eyebrows plucking each hair out individually untill the desired shape is achived. If you need more of an explination hear is a youtube video explaining more of it. )This is actually a local tv report of a eyebrow shop in their area.)

And then there is the classic DIY plucking or shaving. I would not recomend this unless you know exactly what you are doing. Eyebrows are tricky and one accodentall pluck or stroke of shaving can ruin your look for maybe ever depending on how your hairs grow back. So if you do choose to take the DIY route, be carefull. And if you do mess up than you can always go to the professionals for some help!

Monograms on Monograms

Since there has been a recent revive in the South of the monogram I thought that since I love them so much that showing you a few of my favorite sites to buy various monogramed items. Though i have not bought feom all of them i plan to in the future. :)

Shop Momento
Atlanta, Georgia
http://www.shopmemento.com
I first found this store from a twitter account I follow and instantly fell in love.  So even though i have not bought from this site personally, it does seem to die for. They have the classic monogramed t-shirt and sweatshirts to the more unique monogramed riding boots and monogramed watches. There is so much amzing products to choose from. Prices also seem resonable to the product you are getting!!

Frocket
Highland Park, Texas
http://frocket.com
Now this is a website that I have orderd from. I found them at a holiday bizzar in Dallas. For Christmas, I got a long sleve pocket tee with a mongram and i just absolutely love it.
One negative i would have to say about the website is that you do have to pay $10 extra for a monogram which brough my tshirt to be close to $50. Though I feel like it was worth it because I finally had a long sleve tshirt to wear in the winter and ther were bonus points for the monograming.

Personalized From Me to You
Nashville, Tn

This is another website that I have yet to order from but plan to in the near future. I found this on Pintrest and I was absolutely taken aback by the number of objects they offred for personalization. I litterally was jumping up and doen with excitement as i scrolled throught the obsince amount of pages they had. Thought the prices do seem a little expensive, I would still buy from it.

These are a Few of my Favorite Things..... (movie edition)

So for my first post of my brand new blog I've decided to go with my top 3 favorite movies of all time. Okay so here we go starting with number three.
#3 The Last Song
This made the list because first of all I loved Miley Cyrus when she was done with Hannah Montana but not yet as crazy as she is right now! And second though the story line my be unoriginal, the ending placed a really good twist to the movie. It shows that, even though majority of the story was focused on Will and Roni's blossoming relationship, family is what really matters and you truly  don't know how much you love somebody until they are gone.

#2 Captain America
So even though it might be a random pick for a girl, this was an amazing movie. And it probably was my favorite Avenger movie to date!! But there wasn't too much fighting and there was a really sweet love line through out plus Captain America himself was pretty dang cute!!

 #1 The Back Up Plan
Not only is JLO KILLER in this movie but it shows that us women don't need a man to live our own lives and go the way we go. And it also sends the message that when you do feel like something is not quite right or something is missing than you don't need anyones approval to change your life because its not theres, it is yours!!!
